Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from and what devices they use. We use this to improve the site.

Only with your consent. Until you accept in the cookie banner, the Google script is not loaded and Google Analytics sets no cookies. The site’s code always disables advertising storage and personalisation.

  • Data processed: a random identifier stored in the Google Analytics cookie, the pages viewed and when, the referring page, browser and device type, screen size and language, and an approximate location (country, city) derived from the IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
  • Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); for storage on your device, Section 155(4) of Hungarian Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communications).
  • Cookies: _ga and _ga_343MCTECRE, kept in your browser for up to 2 years.
  • Retention in Google Analytics: event-level data is deleted automatically after 2 months; aggregated statistics that cannot be linked to a person are kept.
  • Processor: Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google LLC (USA) may also access the data; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC has signed up.
  • Withdrawal: you can withdraw consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the footer; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Cookies already set can be deleted in your browser settings.
  • Your choice: whether you accepted or declined is remembered in your browser’s local storage (offsite-consent). This never reaches us and is only needed to remember your choice.

How the site runs

Every file on the site, fonts included, is served from our own server; the only third-party service is Google Analytics as described above, and only with your consent. The web server keeps no access log: a visitor’s IP address is used only for the duration of the connection, to serve the page.

  • You can ask what data we hold about you and request a copy (GDPR Art. 15).
  • You can request rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17) or restriction of processing (Art. 18).
  • You can ask for the data you provided in a machine-readable format (data portability, Art. 20).
  • You can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
  • You can withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).

Send your request to info@offsite-solutions.com; we reply within one month at the latest. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
